- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Synopsis/Solicitation for the Directorate of Public Works Calcium Hypochlorite Tablets This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the reference number is W9124Q-10-P-CALCIUMTABLETS. The Offeror must be an authorized dealer and must quote on all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. The Directorate of Public Works at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) has a requirement to purchase calcuim hypochlorite tablets to disinfect the potable water supply that services the WSMR Installation. Please see specifications for further details of the requirement and item description. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is the best value for the Government and conforming to the solicitation the most advantageous to the Government. Please include CAGE Code, DUNS, Tax Identification Number, FOB Destination, and Discount Terms, as well as, availability and how long it will take to effect shipment and delivery. This is for a small business. The NAICS Code is 424690 and the size standard is 100 employees. The items needed are: CLIN 0001: 25 pallets of Calcium Hypochlorite Scale Inhibitor (SI) Tablets at 65%. Each pallet holds 24 pails at 55 pounds/ pail. Meet or Exceed. To receive an award resulting from this RFQ, Offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions. To register, please visit http://www.ccr.gov.
