- Recovery- This notice is provided for information purposes only. NASA LaRC issued atask order under existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contractNNL04AA03B entitled Research Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering (ROME) forOperational reliability assessment for the National Transonic Facility (NTF) located atNASA/LaRC. This effort will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act(ARRA) of 2009 and is in support of the Aeronautics Test Program. Subject award was madeusing a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract type as a cost reimbursable contract was determinedto be the most appropriate considering the complexity, magnitude, high risk, and theunknowns that made it impractical to price as a fixed price contract. The ROME contractNNL04AA03B was awarded on a competitive basis.This effort is funded by ARRA funding andis in support of the NASA Aeronautics Research Aeronautics Test Program.
