PR Number: IQC09310009041 FSC: 5330 Nomenclature: Approved/Acceptable Source Gasket Items RFP: Due Date 4/26/2010 Unrestricted Approved Source Gaskets FSC 5330 The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) Maritime Detachment SMSG will be soliciting requests for proposals from business entities interested in supporting worldwide demand of Gaskets Federal Stock Class (5330) Approved/Acceptable Source items. Solicitation SPM5M5-10-R-0004 is being issued to support this initiative for depot stock replenishment. This initiative will fall under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is required. The initial solicitation will require pricing for 49 (core) NSNs. The delivery requirement will be 120 days ARO. This initiative has 34 identified, but not limited to, additional non-core items in the universe described as Gaskets, (Various) FSC 5330 approved/acceptable source items, which may be added on a post award basis via the Add/Delete Clause as demand warrants. Subject solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted acquisition with the resultant being an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for two (2) base years and one (1) additional one-year option. In determining contract awards, the Contracting Officer will make a comparative assessment of the offerors performance risk by using available tools including the Automated Best Value (ABVM) System. Solicitation SPM5M5-10-R-0004 is expected to be issued approximately 26 March 2010 at https://www.dibs.bsm.dla.mil. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available.
