Synopsis: Federal Protective Service (FPS) Mobile Command Vehicles Solicitation #: QMAA-RK-100000-N(1) Procurement Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Date Posted: March 12, 2010 Title: Federal Protective Service-Mobile Command Vehicles, Routine Maintenance, Repair, and Onsite Services Classification Code: 23- Ground Effects Vehicles, Motor Vehicles, Trailers, & Cycles J- Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment NAICS Code: 336120- Heavy Duty Truck Manufacturing 811198- All other Automotive Repair and Maintenance Description: SYNOPSIS: The General Services Administration, Automotive Acquisition Support Division on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service (DHS-FPS) intends to award a Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contract for vehicles and automotive repair and maintenance services for a base year and up to four (4), one-year options. The DHS-FPS requires six (6) Mobile Command Vehicles (MCVs), the retrofit of five (5) existing large MCVs; along with services to include maintenance and repair services, and on-site contractor support services. All responsive and responsible offerors are encouraged to submit a proposal. GSA will issue solicitation QMAA-RK-100000-N on March 18, 2010 with closing on April 19, 2010. Vehicle Delivery is FOB Destination. Delivery of the Small MCV's is 180 days ARO and for the Large MCV's is 270 days ARO. Please respond to the solicitation (QMAA-RK-100000-N) that will be posted under Federal Classification Code (FSC): 23-Ground Effects Vehicles, Motor Vehicles, Trailers, & Cycles for both the vehicle and the service.
