- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. This is a synopsis for Custom Designed Power Supplies, 20 Each TDI Model PTCPBX-28-30-MIL-XCH, P/N TDI-11369 and 20 Each Power Supplies, TDI Model PTCPBX-48-25-MIL-XCH, P/N TDI-11370, which are part of the Shipboard Protection System (SPS), for a Firm Fixed Price Contract for: CLIN 0001 - 8 Each Custom Designed Power Supplies, TDI Model PTCPBX-28-30-MIL-XCH, P/N TDI-11369 FY 11 Option CLIN 0002 for 8 Each same as CLIN 0001FY12 Option CLIN 0003 for 4 Each same as CLIN 0001 CLIN 0004 - 8 Each Custom Designed, Power Supplies Model PTCPBX-48-25-MIL-XCH, P/N TDI-11370.FY 11 Option CLIN 0005 for 8 Each same as CLIN 0004.FY 12 Option CLIN 0006 for 4 Each same as CLIN 0004. This solicitation will be issued on a sole source basis to Technology Dynamics Inc., 100 School Street, Bergenfield, NJ 07621-2915 due to duplication of cost. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database. CLIN 0001 - 8 Each and CLIN 0004 - 8 Each, requires delivery 70 days after contract award. The first delivery is scheduled for 15 July 2010. Delivery required F.O.B. Destination: NSWC-CD, 300 Highway 361, Crane IN 47522-5001. DPAS rating is DO-A70. Interested parties contact the POC below. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
