Description
RFP FQ10139/VLB is a Solicitation for service. SUBJECT: Request for Proposal (RFP) No. FQ-10139/VLB, Title: Microsoft Subject Matter Expert The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), Department of Information Technology, requests proposals to acquire services identified in the enclosed Statement of Work (SOW) for one (1) Microsoft Subject Matter Expert. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is improving its technology to enhance its business processes, employee services and customer support throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. WMATA has migrated customers from the Novell and Group Wise infrastructure to the Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange infrastructure. The Microsoft implementation has enhanced its business and services to employees and ustomers throughout the Metropolitan area WMATA requires the services of a Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft to conduct an assessment of the existing Active Directory and Exchange system design and configuration with recommendations for a more productive and efficient way of providing services to WMATA’s customers. Contractor shall ensure installed products are installed, integrated, configured and deployed using commercial best practices, complies with industry standards and Manufacturers recommendations. WMATA intends to select a Contractor for the required services after evaluating responses received using the enclosed evaluation criteria. The resulting contract shall be subject to the enclosed WMATA terms and conditions. Contractors shall deliver a complete proposal as described in the enclosed solicitation no later than 2:00PM, March 25, 2010 to WMATA, Office of Procurement and Materials, 600 Fifth Street, NW, Room 3C-05, Washington, DC 20001-2651.
