Description
This sources sought is hereby amended to replace the verbiage with the following: The Naval Surface Warfare Center- Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) is hereby conducting a market survey of potential academic sources or commercial entities to enter into a contract to provide primary training and secondary meeting or conference support within a ten mile commute of NSWC PCD. It is desired that responding academic institutions or commercial entities have experience in conducting technical and business continuous learning events and classes. This is a Sources Sought announcement, a market survey for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no agreement or contract will result from this announcement. This market survey in no way binds the Government to offer agreements or contracts to responding entities. NSWC PCD has a long term requirement to provide training support for NSWC PCD personnel within the following basic scenarios: (1) It is anticipated that the academic institution / commercial entity and NSWC PCD would jointly develop an annual plan for technical and business continuing education courses and will jointly agree on appropriate lead and notification times for training requirements or space requirements; (2) Courses may be offered at the vendors facility or campus and taught by in-house faculty. (3) Courses will be brokered by the vendor to third party vendors and hosted at the prime vendors facility or campus; (4) classroom facilities, equipment and administrative support for training and conferences will be provided by the vendor where NSWC PCD will provide instructors or meeting facilitators/leaders. NSWC PCD requests your responses by 2:00 p.m. (CST), on 19 Mar 2010. Submissions will be accepted after this date, but feedback may not be as timely or contribute to NSWC PCD strategic planning. Information should be e-mailed to wanda.cutchin@navy.mil. Information provided will be treated as Business Sensitive and will not be shared outside of Government activities and agencies without the permission of the provider. All information shall be provided free of charge to the Government. NSWC PCD may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements and may request a presentation and/or a site visit as deemed necessary.
