- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M6700110Q0069 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. This solicitation is issued 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611699 and the small business size standard is $7.0 Million. Pursuant to FAR 22.1006(a), this acquisition shall comply with the Service Contract Act of 1965. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This acquisition is for an estimated ten (10) training courses in Weapons Training and Tactical Vehicle Operators Course for approximately 100 students for a period of 12 months in support of II Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group (II MHG), Transition Teams Training Cell, Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Lejeune, NC. The quantity for the contract line item number (CLIN) is based on the estimated number of students. The contractor shall quote pricing per student. CLIN 0001: Weapons Training Course to include the M-2.50 caliber heavy machine gun, MK-19 heavy machine gun, M-203 Grenade Launcher, M-240 medium machine gun, and Live Fire for an estimated 100 students. Quantity: 100 Each. CLIN 0002: Tactical Vehicle Operators Course for an estimated 100 students. Quantity: 100 Each. CLIN 1001: Weapons Training Course Option - 1 year. Quantity: 100 Each. CLIN 1002: Tactical Vehicle Operators Course Option - 1 year. Quantity: 100 Each. The contract type will be a requirements contract pursuant to FAR Subpart 16.5 for a period of 12 months. A task order will be issued against the requirements contract for each training course as they are scheduled. The period of performance will be for 12 months after date of contract award. The contract requirements for these courses are outlined in the performance work statement (PWS) as set forth at Attachment 1. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: These training courses shall be conducted in Camp Lejeune training areas reserved by the Transition Teams Training Cell located at Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Lejeune, NC 28542.
