Description
W91QV1-10-R-0028 - Notice of Intent U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) intends to award a contract to Micro Focus for COBOL Support and Server Express Support Renewal. This is a sole award based under the statutory permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c )(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agencys Requirements, to Mirco Focus, Inc, 700 King Farm Blvd, Ste 400, Rockville, MD 20850-3334. This requirement is for the Headquarter, Department of the Army, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, renewal of COBOL Server Support, Server Express Support, Modernization Workbench Desktop Edition, and Application Analyzer Support, Micro Focus, Inc. is the sole manufacturer for any authorized maintenance or support for Micro Focus Licenses. The NAICS code is 511210 with a size standard of $25 million dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Request for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledge. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action was based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding by 12:00 PM EST. March 18, 2010. in writing to andrea.corbin@us.army.mil. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 2MB. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Otherwise, responses must be submitted via hard copy to: US Army MICC, Attn: Andrea Corbin, 703/806-4383, 9410 Jackson Loop suite 101, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060.
