- Scope of Contract- The purpose of this contract is to secure services for trail maintenance operations. Normal operations will be conducted during the field season starting June 1 and ending on or before September 1. This contract is a three year performance based indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract does not establish an obligation of total price and does not commit the government to any quantity. The Forest Service will issue the task orders as funding and projects become available. Task orders will obligate trails or sections of trails and specify the work to be completed. Intent of Contract- The intent is for the contractor to provide for the completion of the project described in the Task. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and quality assurance to complete each task order issued. A minimum task orders will not be less than $3,000.00 and a maximum task order will not be greater than $30,000.00. If unforeseen circumstances arise additional task orders may be issued to accommodate for the additional trail work needed. Location and Description- The work will be performed on non-motorized trails located on the Clarks Fork, Wapiti and Greybull Ranger Districts on the North Zone of the Shoshone National Forest. The Shoshone National Forest is located in the Northwest Wyoming. A general written description and a map of each trail will be attached to the task order. **NOTE- Trail work done inside the Wilderness must be accomplished using primitive skills. Task Order Issuance - Task orders will be issued on a case basis. The task order will address specific requirements of a project and will define work items to be accomplished.
