- RECOVERY / ARRA This is a project at two different National Park Service locations for replacing propane tanks and is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This procurement is set aside to be competed among the five (5) HubZone IDIQ contract holders of the Design Build MATOC for the Denver MABO, Intermountain Region, National Park Service. Contract Numbers are C1244090529, C1244090530, C1244090531, C124409532, C1244090533. The project consists of the following for the two parks: Great Sand Dunes National Park & PreserveThe general purpose of this project is to update the two existing LP Gas Tank Distribution Farms. The farms provide LP gas for residences, park maintenance and facility buildings and RV pads. The lower distribution farm consists of removal of 2-1000G and 1-500G LP gas storage tanks. The upper distribution farm consists of removal of 2-1000G LP Gas storage tanks. Removal of manifolds, concrete pedestals and fencing is associated with both distribution farms. Upper farm replacement will consist of installation of 2-2000G horizontal LP Gas storage tanks. Lower farm replacement will consist of installation of 1-2000G horizontal LP Gas storage tank. Site work will consist of manifolds, connecting to existing system, concrete pad, fencing and minor grading for both distribution farms Canyonlands National park Island in the Sky District (ISKY)The general purpose of this project is to update the existing LP Gas Tank Distribution Farms. The farms provide LP gas for residences, park maintenance and facility buildings. The distribution farm consists of removal of 2-1000G, 1-1100G and 1-500G LP gas storage tanks. An existing 1000G LP Gas storage tank exists adjacent to the farm. This tank is to be used for temporary LP gas supply, to be removed at completion of the project. Removal of manifolds, meter, concrete pedestals and fencing is associated with the distribution farm. The proposed farm replacement will consist of 2-2000G horizontal LP Gas storage tanks. Site work will consist of manifolds, connecting to existing system, concrete pad, fencing and minor grading. The NAICS code is 237120 with a small business size standard $33. 5 M. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated award date is April 28, 2010. The task order will be competed among the five IDIQ contracts and will be awarded to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Offeror.
