- The United States Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Region 9 Contracting Office intends to issue a solicitation to provide services for direct implementation of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) with federally recognized Tribal Nations in north eastern Arizona and southern Nevada, specifically to provide hands-on technical assistance to targeted Region 9 Tribes in the technical, managerial, and financial aspects of operating and managing drinking water facilities in compliance with the SDWA. The services for this project are under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 541620. The Government intends to award a performance-based, Fixed-Rate, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. This procurement will be a small business set-aside. The contract resulting from this announcement will have a one (1) year base period with two (2), one (1) year option years for a possible total period of performance of three (3) years and an aggregate value of $450,000.00. This notice, the RFP and other information related to this procurement will be posted on, or about, April 2, 2010 on the EPA's Office of Acquisition Management website, at the following address: http://www.epa.gov/oam/regions/index.htm. After accessing this site, search under the Solicitations and Amendments heading and select the link for applicable Region 9 solicitation. All information related to this procurement will be available at this link through the date of contract award. The anticipated award for this contract is on or around July 1, 2010. Contract award will be made on a best value basis. Regardless of the competitive nature of award, the contractor must be technically acceptable and meet cost reasonableness standards.
