Description
Government Response to contractors question 1. After reading and rereading the SOW it remains unclear to me the DOJ preferred method d of pricing. Is the DOJ looking for and hourly rate per task or a flat rate per task or some other method? Response: We are looking for a fixed per drop cost, inclusive of labor for the majority of our projects. We also have to have a mechanism to have hourly labor rate to address certain situations wherein additional labor may be necessary due to a construction or an emergency situation which is beyond the Government’s control. 2. No where in the SOW or in the accompanying Excel spread sheet are the number of network drops per office defined. Is that information available? Response: At minimum, each office will have two (2) data drops. Specific requirements are identified by local USAO personnel and submitted to EOUSA after the project is approved. 3. This is a very large requirement for a small business will DOJ consider dividing the requirement into geographical regions? Response: The Program Management team must be based in Washington, DC. EOUSA is interested in options available to address the nationwide cable project requirement. 4. Will the DOJ consider holding a pre-bid conference? Response: EOUSA intends on conducting on-site, oral presentations for contractor proposals. 5. What division of BAE currently services the contract? Response: BAE Systems Information Solutions, Inc. 6. Is a copy of the current contract available for review? Response: Yes
