Description
Synopsis Data for SPM4A510R0545 Longeron Assembly, AFT Fuselage Lower/ ATF Aircraft, SOF (AC-130H, MC-130H, EC-130E, HC-130, MC-130W) This solicitation will contain one NSN for Aircraft, SOF (AC-130H, MC-130H, EC-130E, HC-130, MC-130W), Longeron Assembly, AFT Fuselage Lower. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be solicited for award of a firm fixed price contract. The OEMs and only approved sources are Frazier Aviation, Inc., Cage 23162, PN 342986-6R; and Lockheed Martin Corporation, Cage 98897, PN 342986-14 or PN 342986-6R. This is a Navy Critical Safety Item (CSI). The NSN and quantity are as follows: NSN 1560-01-142-6695, quantity 25 each plus a 100% Option Quantity. The delivery schedule is 698 DARO (first article testing sample delivery of 304 days (30 days for Mylar, 274 days for first article test sample delivery), Government test and evaluation 120 days, production quantity delivery 274 days). FOB: Destination; Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Specifications, plans or drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. In accordance with 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) (1), other than full and open competition applies. Conditions for evaluation and acceptance of offers for part numbered items cited in the AID: This agency has no data available for evaluating the acceptability of alternate products offered. In addition, to the data required in subparagraph (c) (2) of clause L17C01 (52.217-9002), the offeror must furnish drawings and other data covering the design, materials, etc., of the exact product cited in the AID, sufficient to establish that the offeror's product is equal to the product cited in the AID. The anticipated solicitation issue date will be 29 March 10 and anticipated close date will be 28 April 10. The anticipated award date is 23 June 10.
