- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for Check Point Firewall hardware and support. The FAA contemplates awarding a purchase order to fulfill this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423430, Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers, and the Small Business size standard is100 Employees. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Fishnet Security Inc, Kansas City MO, in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. The FAA currently receives support from Fishnet Security for all Check Point products. The determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm is necessitated and supported because of the complex nature of the current FAA system configuration and required continuity of support for all Check Point products. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
