- Pre-solicitation announcement for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Healthcare System, VA Medical Center, Tomah, Wisconsin issued 2/25/2010 is hereby rescinded and replaced as follows. Pre-solicitation announcement for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Healthcare System, VA Medical Center, Tomah, WI is hereby issued. An Invitation For Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about April 1, 2010 for a Firm Fixed Priced, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for small construction projects for a base period of one year with two one-year options to extend. VA will issue individual task orders against this contract and contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor and qualified supervision to complete the projects. Work will include but not be limited to general construction, alterations, renovations, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical work, utility systems, and asbestos abatement. Individual task orders will be between $2,000 and $500,000. This procurement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms (SDVOSB). All prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and on the VetBiz website, www.vetbiz.gov, to be considered for award. The solicitation will be posted on www.fbo.gov. Bid opening will be on or about May 15, 2010. Bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. The contract range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $33.5 million applies.
