- Description
- Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) intends to competitively solicit and award three requirements for the United States Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan; using lowest price technically acceptable source selection procedures. The first requirement is FOB Origin within city limits for an anticipated 1,700,000 US gallons of diesel fuel (SPEC GOST 305-82; NSN: 9140-01-492-7612). The second requirement is FOB Destination for an anticipated 330,000 US gallons of diesel fuel (SPEC GOST 305-82; NSN: 9140-01-492-7612). The third requirement is for an anticipated 330,000 US gallons of unleaded automobile gasoline (NSN: 9130-01-526-4844). This is a multi-year procurement; period of performance is September 1, 2010 through August 31, 2013. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 5, 2010.
