- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a modification to a firm-fixed price contract with the Boeing Company, for the procurement of additional EA-18G Full-Rate Production (Lots 35 and 36) Airborne Electronic Attack Kits, including associated systems engineering, non-recurring engineering and/or material, production management, and related data in support of these items and engineering changes to the baseline configuration. The total quantity of AEA kits to be procured is two in FY2011 and twenty-four in FY2012. Boeing is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft and is the only known source with the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G peculiar engineering data, capability, and expertise required to fulfill NAVAIR’s requirements within the time required.
