- Description
- The 87th Contracting Squadron, McGuire AFB, NJ 08641 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to AAI Corporation for the inspection and calibration of two (2) HUD Tray Alignment Fixtures (HTAF). Each HTAF will be inspected and calibrated two (2) times per fiscal year. AAI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (EOM), and currently the only company with the proper equipment and methods necessary to calibrate the HTAF. This Notice does NOT constitute a solicitation document. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3829, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519, and the related Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The FAR authority for award of other-than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. All potential sources must obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DOD). All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which if timely received, will be considered by the agency.
