Description
Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) operated by Princeton University under Contract No. DE-AC02-09CH11466 with the U. S. Department of Energy, seeks expressions of interest and budgetary estimates for a Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone system to replace the current phone system operating at PPPL. Expressions of interest must contain information describing the system being recommended by the responder, as well as information on the responder's technical capabilities and experience in providing and installing system of a similar size and nature. Budgetary estimates must be based on the following system requirements: (1) Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phones (SIP preferred) with accessory power adapters; (2) Analog TDM phones; (3) 450 VOIP lines; (4) 450 TDM lines (includes fax lines); (5) Redundant controllers, each upgradable with no downtime; (6) Calling features of voice mail, caller ID, call forwarding, conferencing, multiple lines, and lab directory using LDAP services as its source; (7) Softphone capability for laptops; (8) Retention of 4 digit dialing for lab extensions; and (9) (optional, but highly desirable) 5 digit dialing to Princeton Univesrity main campus extensions (8 + extension). Interested parties must also include in the budgetary estimate any associated project management costs, any installation service costs, and a per-year maintenance cost for up to five years. This announcement is a Request for Expressions of Interest only. PPPL will not reimburse any costs associated with any response to this announcement. For answers to questions or to request further information, interested parties should contact the PPPL procurement representatives listed on this announcement by telephone or email. Please submit responses in time to arrive at PPPL no later than 6:00 pm (Princeton Local Time) Friday, March 26, 2010. Email responses are desired.
