- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to acquire Maintenance and Repair Services to Hamilton Company Instruments. The CDC believes that its requirement can only be met by only one provider, Hamilton Company, however all responsive sources that can meet the requirements listed herein may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Description of the requirements are: General Description: The Contractor, as an independent organization and not as an agent of the Government, shall furnish all personnel, materials, supplies and equipment to provide Maintenance and Repair Services to Hamilton Company Instruments. CDC anticipates soliciting and awarding with only one source under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) permitting other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Hamilton Company is the only known source available to provide a maintenance service that meets mission critical requirements. Period of Performance: Base Year: 12 Months, with Two (2) 12 Months Option Years. No Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities/qualifications to provide the services, in writing to Richard Jenkins, via email ONLY at RJenkins@cdc.gov. with the reference number (2010-N-11979) referenced in the subject line, NO later than March 19, 2010, 12:00 PM Eastern Time.
