Description
Note: The archiving date is not the due date of the solicitation. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified HVAC contractors interested in providing offers for the work associated with the removal and replacement of two air cooled chillers for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Facility, 6902 McGloin Road, Corpus Christi TX. The work will consists of but is not limited to: Replacement of two air cooled chillers; Complete Parts and Labor Warranty for a Period of Five years from date of Acceptance Completion; Warranty shall also include Quarterly Maintenance Service for a Period of Five years; Manufacturer shall provide an 8-hr response time for chiller warranty service; Installation of Air Handling Unit in Junction Level Mechanical Room; Modification of existing HVAC Controls; Replacement of pump and motor of Domestic Water pressure booster system; Installation of concrete housekeeping pads for mechanical equipment; and Installation of temporary air conditioning. Contract performance time is 134 days. This is a Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238220 and the small business size standard is $14.0 Million. The dollar range for this project is between $500,000.00 and $750,000.00 A mandatory (pre-bid) meeting will be conducted; date and time are provided in the solicitation. All interested contractors must attend this site visit in order to qualify for contract award. Further information is contained in the solicitation package. Contractor is expected to perform at least 25% of the work utilizing the contractor's own employees. Contractor MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and have this NAICS code in their profile before contract award. Contractors can register on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. "This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
