- This is a sources sought synopsis. The Montana Army National Guard is conducting market research on potential sources to conduct Entry-level fire inspector training for up to 25 students at Fort Harrison, MT from 14 JUN 10 to 18 JUN 10. Contractor will responsible for all travel and per diem to Fort Harrison, MT. The course must be designed to meet or exceed the elements of NFPA 1031, chapter 4 and will provide the tools necessary to obtain certification through NPQS (Pro Board). Instruction will be provided through classroom lectures, group activities and task-oriented applications. Contractor will provide 40 hours of instruction with a minimum of one (1) licensed instructor, all student texts and training materials and administer certification exam. Contractor is responsible for issuing certification certificates with the NPQB seal for each student upon successful completion of course. The government will provide adequate classroom and examination facilities, verify student pre-requisites and AFC certification. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Under the North American Industry Classification System Code 611519, the Montana Army National Guard is in search of a business to provide entry-level fire inspector training. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this announcement as soon as possible with a complete response to this request for information (RFI). Responses should include: a.name and address of the business; b.point of contract information to include name, title, phone number and email address; c.size of the contractor as well as designation as a small, disadvantaged business (SDB), woman owned small business (WOSB), veteran owned small business, service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or HUBzone small business; d.firm, fixed price to conduct training course on-site at Fort Harrison to include travel, per diem and student materials. Please note that this synopsis is for information purposes only and to identify potential sources of supply. This notice is an RFI only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract award will be made until appropriated funds are made available All submitted materials will be designated for Government Use Only. No costs will be reimbursed to those businesses submitting responses to this RFI and responses will not be returned. Responses to this sources sought synopsis may be submitted by hard copy to the USPFO for Montana, ATTN: CPT Bryan Baldwin, Purchasing and Contracting, 1956 Mt Majo Street, Post Office Box 4789, Fort Harrison, Montana 59636-4789, no later than March 12, 2010 by 4:00 P.M.
