- Description
- This procurement is a 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business. The contract type is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for construction services to provide, install and terminate various types of network and telecommunication for various infrastructures (renovated or new) on Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Air Field, Georgia. The contractor shall provide the necessary personnel, material, equipment, software, testing, documentation, transportation and management support to perform the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The actual amount of work to be performed and the time of performance will be determined in an individual task order and scope of work. Task orders against the contract will be on a firm fixed price basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210, and the annual size standard is $14.0 million. The basic contract period will be for 12 months. The contract also contains four (4) 12-month options for a total maximum duration of 60 months. The magnitude of this requirement, including the base year and all options, is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Task orders will range between $25,000 and $100,000. Task orders may fall below or above this limit; however, contractors are not obligated to accept such task orders under the general terms of the contract. The only work authorized under this contract is work ordered by the government through issuance of a task order. The government makes no representation as to the number of task orders or actual amount of work to be ordered, however, during the term of the contract, a minimum of $43,000 is guaranteed to be ordered from the awardee, under the performance period of the contract. The Contractor is not guaranteed work in excess of the minimum guarantee. Selection for award will be based on evaluation of the following: Factor 1: Mission Capability; Subfactor 1: Management Approach and Technical Capabilities; Subfactor 2: Personnel Qualification and Staffing Plan; Subfactor 3: Organization Experience. Factor 2: Past Performance and Factor 3: Cost/Price. Source Selection procedures will be used and award may be made to the Offeror whose proposal is the most advantageous and offers the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. The RFP will be posted on the AFSI website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) website at http://fbo.gov/ on or about March 18, 2010.
