- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, CA plans to procure a prototype Heavy Underway Replenishment (Unrep) Ram Tensioner. The Heavy Unrep - Navy Standard Ram Tensioner is a pneumatic-hydraulic device that maintains relatively constant tension on the load-bearing wire rope during Underway Replenishment. The Ram Tensioner will operate at approximately 40,000 lbs line tension generated by 2000 psi air pressure. It is designed to accommodate up to120 ft of relative ships motion. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333995. All items must be delivered in accordance with NAVSEA Drawings, which will be provided with the subsequent solicitation. The award of this procurement will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The proposed delivery schedule is specified within the attached Draft Statement of Work. Interested offerors may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
