- This project consists of construction or reconstruction of five road segments. These roads are labeled as 540.1K, 540.1N, Temp 1, Temp 2 and 532.3B. Work includes establishing work clearing limits, installation of survey staking, clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation and linear grading, placement of aggregate and pit run, installation of a Government-furnished prefabricated bridge, culvert installations, seeding, and road closure gate installations. This project is located on the Wind River Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest and ranges in elevation from 7.800 feet to 8.400 feet. The roads are generally located in three different areas. The following descriptions describe access to each of those areas: (1) To access roads 540.1K and 540.1N, drive 17 miles northwest of Dubois, WY on Highway 26/287. Turn left on Forest Service Road (FSR) 532, drive 0.4 miles and turn right on FSR 540 (Pelham Lake Road). Drive 2.7 miles to find 540.1K on the right. To access 540.1N, continue up 540 another 2.3 miles and turn right on FSR 540.1D. Travel 1.6 miles to find the beginning of 540.1N on the right. (2) To acces the roads described as "Temp 1" and "Temp 2" in the solicitation, drive 17 miles northwest of Dubois on Highway 26/287. Turn left on FSR 532 (Warm Springs Road), drive 1.1 miles, cross the Sheridan Creek bridge and turn left on FSR 542. Proceed 1.5 miles to find the beginning of Temp 1 on the left. To find Temp 2, continue another 1.5 miles and turn left on FSR 629. Go 0.6 miles to the beginning of Temp 2 on the left. (3) To access 532.3B, drive 9 miles northwest of Dubois on Highway 26/287. Turn left on FSR 263 (Union Pass Road). Drive 5.3 miles and turn right on FSR 532 (Warm Springs Road). Travel 1.8 miles (0.1 miles past Warm Springs #1 bridge) and turn left onto 532.3B. The price range for this effort is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is not a prebid tour/conference scheduled for this effort. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
