- Description
- The US Government will hold the 2010 PANAMAX Main Planning Conference from 6-9 April 2010 in Miami, Fl. The Government requires Conference Facilities, Audio Visual Equipment, Meals, and Lodging for approximately 275 participants. This requirement shall include the following services: 1 Main Conference Room to accommodate 275 persons (1 large room which cannot be divided), 3 Smaller Conference Rooms to accommodate 65 persons each (U-Shaped table & Additional Seating), 9 Small Breakout Rooms to accommodate 30 persons each (U-Shaped table & Additional Seating), and 1 Administrative Room to accommodate 10 persons with 4 tables. All conference rooms need to be within close proximity of one another, and all lodging shall take place in the same venue. Approximately 150 rooms will be required from 6-9 April 2010 and shall be met by the hotel responding to this announcement. Additionally, this requirement shall include buffet style Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for up to 50 persons with potential for up to 150 participants eating meals; provide reserved parking spaces, AM & PM Coffee Breaks, and a beverage station. Solicitation issuance is anticipated for 5 March 2010. Contract award is anticipated for 12 March 2010. All inquiries to this announcement should be directed to the Contract Specialist, Michael A. Son, Army Contracting Command Miami at michael.son@hq.southcom.mil. PLEASE NOTE: Contract award shall be made to hotel contractors only. All third party responses to the subsequent solicitation shall be considered non-responsive and will not be included in the competition for this requirement.
