- RECOVERY; Cannery - Lift Building; SLBE 9544; TAS:: 14 - 1041 This is a Presolicitation Notice for the following: Procurement is full and open competition. Project Name: Raise Cannery Building The North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) Code: 238990 "House moving (i.e., raising from one site, moving, and placing on a new foundation" The Small Business Size Standard is $14.0 million In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of the requirement for this contract is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 The Solicitation Number for this Project is Q6620100027. The US Department of the Interior, the National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office is soliciting proposals from Small Businesses for a firm-fixed-price construction contract to provide all labor, supplies, equipment, jacks, brackets, bracing, beams and cribbing and material necessary to lift the Structure (Cannery Building) 18" from existing foundation, shore in up position and set the Structure back down on new foundation at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore located in Empire, MI 49630-9797. This requirement is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act). In accordance with contract clause 52.204-11 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Reporting Requirements, the contractor is required to register in FederalReporting.gov and report certain information as required by the clause. Reports shall be submitted during the first 10 days after the end of each calendar quarter. A site visit is currently scheduled for all interested and qualified parties March 30, 2010 at 9:00am EST. Details will be included in the Solicitation. The Solicitation and attachments will be posted electronically on or about March 18, 2010 at the following website: www/fedbizopps.gov. All Amendments will also be posted to this website. Responses will be due approximately April 30, 2010 unless extended. Detailed instructions will be included in the Solicitation. Once posted, the solicitation can be accessed through www.fbo.gov by searching for the Solicitation Number "Q6620100027", and then clicking on the link to the IDEAS-EC website. Individual requests for Solicitation packages will NOT be accepted and no packages are available in hard copy. Responses from Officers' will be accepted in hard copy format only, at the address of the point of contact stated in the Solicitation. All offers must be received by the due date and time stated in the Solicitation. This Announcement does not constitute the Solicitation. All interested Contractors are asked to add their name to the "Interested Vendor List" for this project. You will then be notified when the Solicitation is posted and of all subsequent amendments.
