- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial iems prepared in accordance with the format for FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additonal information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Conference in Alexandria, VA, April 26 through April 30, 2010. a. Hold 80 Rooms doubles occupy at the per diem rate. b. Need one (1) Banquet Room for 100 atttendees with food and beverages, Need two (2) Breakout Rooms for 100 attendees. April 27-30, 2010 (Times 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) c. Audio/Visual Equipment - The Banquet Room shall include a main stage, projection equipment, mics, pipe & drape, podium, flags. The breakout rooms will need mics and projection equipment duration 3 1/2 days. Proposals for this requirement is due Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 3:00 pm (EST). Proposals received after this time will not be considered. The total proposed price shall be all inclusive (include any incidental charges, parking surcharges, etc) Individual room charges will be the responsibilites of the person occupying the room. The period of performance is April 26-30, 2010. The quantities and charges shall not exceed what is authorized and specified in the contract and aasociated CLINs. Contractor is responsible for providing all necessary materials to assist in the performance of the conference to include room set-up, room tear down, audio visual hook ups and operation unless otherwise noted upon in advance. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation that has the lowest price. The Government intends to evaluate offers and make award without discussions; However, this does not preclude the Government from having discussions if it is in the best interest of the Government. To be eligible for an award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. A contractor can contact the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or email at http://www.ccr.gov. No Exceptions. A DUNS (Dun and Bradstreet) number is required in order to register.
