Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC),Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract andwill utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified AcquisitionProcedures. The proposed acquisition must be done by Emerson authorizedtechnicians that are allowed to provide Maintenance and Service to theirequipment. The requirement calls for a base and 4 option years onmaintenance to a 225kVA Emerson Liebert Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)with the alarm repair included in the regular preventive maintenance checkup as required by the Commander, Naval Network Warfare Command in Norfolk,VA. The contractor shall provide 1 annual preventive maintenance service,comprising of manufacturer's recommended annual maintenance, Quarterlybattery maintenance, including cell Voltage, resistance and temperaturemeasurements. On-site response to all urgent services requests within 4 hours of servicecall, 24/7/365. 100% parts, labor and travel coverage. The applicable NAICSCode is 811219. The resulting contract will be for the base period of 12month from the contract date, with four one-year options. A complete RFQpackage will be available on or about February 25, 2010 by downloading thedocuments at the Neco Website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil or athttps://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractor are hereby notified thatthe solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY beavailable for download at the above sites; this office no longer issueshardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be selfcertifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor the owners arecurrently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contractsfrom any Federal Agency. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or writtendiscussions with respect to other than price with the offerrors at anytimeprior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCRdatabase prior to award, during performance, and through final payment ofany contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreignvendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack ofregistration in the CCR database will make the contractor ineligible foraward.
