- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a firm fixed-price contract for Pitrun and Riprap delivery to be delivered to a project area located in Mesa Count, Colorado, approximately 11 miles south and east of Grand Junction, Colorado. Solicitation No. R10PS40023 will be issued on or about March 4, 2010, and will be available for downloading directly from the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The date for receipt of quotes is March 16, 2010. This solicitation and resulting contract will be processed under the Commercial Item Test Program, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded on or about March 17, 2010. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is: 212321; the small business size standard is 500 employees. Offerors are encouraged to attend a group site visit to inspect the existing access roads and delivery site conditions. The site visit will be conducted on March 12, 2010 at 10:00 am. Offerors shall meet the representative(s) from Reclamation at the public Park and Ride parking lot located next to the CDOT maintenance facility before traveling to the delivery site. This meeting location is approximately 1/4-mile east of the intersection of State Highway 50 and 32 Road, Mesa County, CO. Questions regarding the site visit can be made, up to the day of the site visit, by calling Kevin Moran (USBR) at 970-248-0635. Mr. Moran can be reached on the day of the site at 970-210-0477. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by this agency. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award.
