Description

THIS IS ONLY THE PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. NO ACTION IS REQUESTED NOR REQUIRED. THE COMPLETE SOLICITATION INCLUDING ALL FILTER SPECIFICATIONS AND QUANTITIES REQUIRED WILL BE POSTED ON OR AFTER 18 MARCH 2010, SUBJECT TO CHANGE. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format ONLY and will be posted on the FedBizOpps website when available. This procurement will be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 423850 with a small business standard size of 100 Employees. The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, I.A.W. SubPart 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items. The National Park Service (NPS) requires Strainrite Filters for the Park Water System. Only Strainrite filters will be considered as the State of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has only approved the Strainrite Filter Canisters and Filters to meet LT 1 and LT 2 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations for this water system. Place of Delivery: Denali National Park and Preserve, Milepost 237 Parks Highway, Denali Park, AK 99755.
