- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. MODIFICATION TO W81XWH-10 The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intendsto award a contract on a non-competitive bases for the purchase of services to perform multiple work items associated with the technical and administrative support necessary for the preparation of the study site(s) and execution of clinical study related activities for the conduct of dengue epidemiology studies to take place within Thailand. The work is for the co-development of the Chimerivax Yellow Fever-Dengue vaccine (CYD). The anticipated award will be made under the Authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, to Mahidol University. Specifically, FAR 6.302-1 (b)(i), states, unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offors received in response to this notice. All inquirires and concerns must be emailed to lisa.trott@us.army.mil. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 5:00 PM on March 12, 2010. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageious to the Government.
