- The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), 667 Aeronautical System Squadron (667 AESS), Wright-Patterson AFB, OH is soliciting information to determine if there are potential sources that have the capability to build Manually Operated Lift Truck (MOLT) adapters. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes only and should not be considered as a request for proposals or as a solicitation to do business with the Government. DESCRIPTION: (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. (b) Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this RFI, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. The Government is requesting information pertaining to the capabilities of a small business to build four (4) Manually Operated Lift Truck (MOLT) adaptors. The MOLT adapters would be a strictly build-to-print effort in accordance with the drawings. Please contact Nikita Chandiramani at Nikita.Chandiramani@wpafb.af.mil for a copy of the MOLT adapter drawings. The adapters will be used in conjunction with the MOLT to install/uninstall turrets for the AC-130U Gunship aircraft Interested and capable sources should submit information stating general capabilities on a CD-R in an electronic format that is compatible with Microsoft Windows and Office 2007, and two paper copies to the Contracting Officer, Katherine Hamblin, 1895 5th Street, Bldg 46, Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433-7200 not later than 25 March 2010. Questions regarding this RFI may be submitted to the Program Manager, Lt. Pete Dowling at Pete.Dowling@wpafb.af.mil or Katherine.Hamblin@wpafb.af.mil. The paper copies and the electronic versions must be identical in all respects. Responses to this RFI must at a minimum be able to describe your capabilities and provide a brief synopsis of your ability to meet the requirements described herein. Submittals may include facility information, production capability, and past Government experience.
