- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures) and Subpart 12.6 (Streamlined Procedures for Commercial Items), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference solicitation number W911RZ-10-T-0083. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. Fort Carson intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order salvage vehicles. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423930. This requirement is unrestricted. The Contractor shall propose the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): ITEM NO SUPPLIES/SERVICESQUANTITY UNIT TOTAL 0001 Salvage cars or trucks 30 Each_______________ Small import or domestic cars and trucks to be used in Improvised Explosive Device (IED) training lanes. All vehicles shall have the following: all fluids drained, tires shall hold air, shall appear to be serviceable and shall be able to be moved around. Deliver to 0002 Motorcycle 10 Each _______________ Motorcycles (125 CC to 750 CC dirt or street) to be used in Improvised Explosive Device (IED) training lanes. All motorcycles shall have the following: all fluids drained, tires shall hold air, shall appear to be serviceable and shall be able to be moved around. 0003 Delivery _______________ Vehicles shall be delivered no later than 5 April 2010 to the following location: Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site 36086 US HWY 350 Model, CO 81059 FAR and DFARS Provisions and Clauses: The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this purchase order and may be viewed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The Government may accept any item or group of items of an offer, unless the offeror qualifies the offer by specific limitations.
