- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, the U.S. Census Bureau intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Rosita Young, located in Louisville, Kentucky, for the provision of services as a Human Resources Specialist for the Human Resources Branch at the U.S. Census Bureau. The referenced source has successfully performed the specified services for the U.S. Census Bureau before and because of this specialized relevant experience such as completing all assigned tasks in support of managing the staffing and classifying of positions, Conducting desk audits, Review updates to OPM Classification Standards and apply to appropriate NPC position descriptions for consistency, at the National Processing Center (NPC), it is believed that obtaining the required services from Rosita Young will provide the best value and be in the best interest for the Government. The work will take place at the U.S. Census National Processing Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana, with some possible work occurring at the U.S. Census headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. Rosita Young is the only known source with the required specialized expertise and experience to meet the requirements. This is not a solicitation announcement or an invitation for bids. Information received regarding this announcement will only be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Otherwise, the Census Bureau believes it is in its best interest to award an order to Rosita Young for services as a Human Resources Specialist.
