- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. Recovery – Ramona Bridge aka 25 Mile Creek Bridge Supply The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement to supply 1 (one) pre-fabricated steel girder bridge 55’ in length 21’+/- 6” clear width between curbs. The bridge shall be delivered to a site within 30 miles from Chelan, Washington. The bridge includes the superstructure with steel deck attached, precast concrete sills, backwalls, and object markers. Work also consists of providing Load Ratings based on As-Designed condition. Additional information will be included in the solicitation. Contractor shall furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, supervision and transportation to complete the project on time and within schedule in compliance with specifications. The timeframe for delivery of the bridges is between August 1 and September 30, 2010. The delivery will be coordinated through the COR. The COR will coordinate with the installation contractor, who will be responsible for unloading the bridge at the delivery site. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated requiring submission of past performance and price. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The period of performance is 150 days after the issuance of the Notice To Proceed. This acquisition is determined to be under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and posted for 100% small business set aside. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications and wage rates will be posted to the https://www.fbo.gov/ website on or about March 17, 2010. No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed or issued. To receive the Request for Proposal package and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from the https://www.fbo.gov/ website.
