- Amemdment 02 to Pre-Solicitation Notice F2N3Y8285AC01 The following changes have been made to Solicitation Number FA3047-10-R-0009: 1. Solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. 2. Interested, responsible Small Business offerors and it's employees must have a current security clearance at the classifiction level of Secret. Proposals submitted by small businesses must be accomplished with a copy of DD254-Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification to support current status of secret clearance. Solicitation FA3047-10-R-0009 is anticipated to be issued on March 5, 2010. The following changes have been made: Solicitation Number will be FA3047-10-R-0009 and the anticipated posting date will be on or about February 2,2010. The requirement period of performance will be for an anticipated base period of April 1, 2010 to 30 September 2010 with four option years, and proposals will be evaluated for the base period and the four option years. End of Modification/Amendment 01 This is a pre-solicitation notification for the 37th Contracting Squadron, Lackland AFB, Texas, for Postal/Base Information Transfer Center (BITC) Service Requirement. An electronic solicitation for this requirement is anticipated to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov on or about 19 January 2010. This acquisition will be set aside 100% for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business. This procurement will follow simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13.5. The North American Standard Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this acquisition is 491110 with an associated small business size standard of $7,000,000. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform operation of Postal Service, which includes transport of all personnel mail from Official Mail Center (OMC) to locations specified in the Performance Work Statement. The contractor will also be responsible for transporting mail to each postal center, and provide general delivery to personnel on temporary duty at Lackland AFB, TX, and will provide customer service window support daily to all eligible personnel. All responsible Service Disabled Veteran Owned Smal Business offerors may submit proposals in response to the solicitation via Federal Business Opportunity website. All potential offerors, who are Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov, and the On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) website at www.bpn.gov, and have all updated/ current information in CCR and ORCA, have a tax identification number, and a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number.
