- DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Maintenance, Repair, Replacement, Refurbishment, and New Installation of Elevators, Escalators, Material Lifts, and Dumbwaiters SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: This is a request for information/market research to provide data for planning purposes. This sources sought synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida, is seeking potential sources capable of providing all services and requirements described in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), dated 24 February 2010. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation and labor necessary to perform preventative maintenance and interim service for elevators, escalators, material lifts and dumbwaiters located at Eglin AFB main base and all outlying ranges and sites. Interested vendors should be aware of the PWS requirements for "Interim Service" (PWS paragraph 1.3.), which consists of "Routine Interim Service" (PWS paragraph 1.3.1.) and "Emergency Service" (PWS 1.3.2.), and "Elevator Car Refurbishment" (PWS 1.5.) and New Elevator Installation (PWS 1.6.). The contractor agrees to accept all of the items in Appendix "A" in "as is" condition at the time of the contract start date. Estimated workload data is listed in Appendix "A". The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price requirements type contract with a base period of performance of 01 Oct 2010 through 30 Sep 2011, with four (4) one-year option periods for a total contract performance period of sixty (60) months, if the option periods are exercised. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the future acquisition is 238290, with a small business size standard of $14.0 million annually.
