- Design/Build Construction Requirement: Design and Renovate Operating Room, Project No. 673-10-601. This procurement is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Size standard under NAICS 236220 is $33.5 million; Project Cost Range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Location of work is at The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, Tampa, Florida 33612. A solicitation notice may be available on or about 23 Apr 2010. Requirement: Project No. 673-10-601, titled Operating Room Renovation. Provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, specialty services, supervision, and tools to complete the project. The general scope of work includes design and renovation of four specified areas: Urology Clinic estimated 4000 sq ft, Endovascular Suite estimated 1500 sq ft, Operation Rooms (OR) 2 through 7 estimated 5500 sq ft and the OR Staff Locker Room estimated 1200 sq ft. Individual designs shall be in accordance with VA design guides and specifications. This project will be divided into sequential phases for construction. Each designed phase shall be a capable of being awarded and constructed independently if necessary due to budget constraints.
