- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Leavenworth, intends to issue a solicitation for JIIM Research and Writing Support located at Ft. Leavenworth KS. The overall scope of this procurement will include the following: provide research, analysis, writing and integration support to the Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL), Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, Multinational Division (JIIM-D). The performance of this requirement shall include but is not limited to providing the following: a monthly gap analysis report; participation in experimentation focused conferences, in-progress reviews, working group meetings, workshops, video teleconferences and other related events in support of analysis, coordination and collaboration requirements; responding to information requests; developing two (2) JIIM Issues monthly; providing an annual Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) Gap Lessons Learned (L2) Report; providing training for 2 collection and analysis teams and delivering an annual JIIM training newsletter. The Government anticipates a solicitation release date on or about March 19, 2010 through Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) website. A single award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract is anticipated and award will be made to the offeror who provides a proposal that best meets the Governments requirement. All requirements, evaluation criteria, basis for contract award and proposal due date will be provided as part of the solicitation. The anticipated period of performance will consist of a one base year period of performance with 2 one-year optional periods. This procurement is set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns only; under NAICS Code 541690 and who meet the small business size standard of $7 Million. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available at the Government wide Point of Entry at http://www.fbo.gov/ and https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Requests for printed copies of the solicitation will not be accepted.
