Description
Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, material, equipment and transportation necessary for Project number 636-10-107, Replace Roof Building 1 C Wing at the Omaha Division of the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System located are 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105. Work includes, but is not limited to, General Construction, Metals, Wood and Plastic, Thermal and Moisture Protection and necessary removal of existing structures. The project will consist of approximately 2670 SF of roof replacement with various work to move/repair existing items. All work shall be performed in accordance with specifications, drawings and all applicable codes and standards. Solicitation Number VA-263-10-IB-0132 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about March 18, 2010. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit is tentatively scheduled to be held during the week of March 29 April 2, 2010 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled to be held on April 30, 2010 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 90 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimate of the total project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
