- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A COMPETITIVE BIDS.The Department of Veterans' Affairs, West Palm Beach FL Medical Center intends to solicit a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside contract for fabrication and installation of stainless steel 16-guage door channels in the Community Living Center (CLC) located on the medical center campus. The CLC has 54 patient bedroom doors, 66 patient bathroom doors and 61 doors classified as other functions. In order to be considered eligible to participate in this solicitation, all respondents must be a SDVOSB whose business is located within the State of Florida and who is currently registered in the Contract Central Database (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov and complete online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. In addition, respondents must be registered in Vets 100 http://vets.dol.gov/vets100/ and VetBiz http://www.vetbiz.gov. Failure to meet these requirements will render those vendors ineligible to participate. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220, with a small business size standard of $ 33.5 million annual receipts for the past three years. The cost range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation is anticipated to be released on or before March 12, 2010. A pre-bid conference will be held on or about March 24, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BIDS. THERE ARE NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE.
