- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for Construction Management Services (CMS) in support of projects performed by contracts and/or AOC in-house personnel. The projects are typically located in occupied historical buildings which are open to the public for Legislative business. The construction management activities or services required under this contract include: Construction Management, Inspection, Scheduling,Claims analysis/Claims defense,Quality Control,Testing and Inspection,Preparation of Change Order packages including estimates and review of contractor's proposed value engineerings, andAdministrative Office Support. Up to two contracts may be awarded on an unrestricted basis using a full and open competition. The contract period will include a base year and four option years. Option periods may be exercised at the discretion of the Contracting Officer when the contract amount for the base period or preceding option period has been exhausted or nearly exhausted. The estimated workload for each period is $6,000,000. The cumulative amount of all task orders will not exceed $30,000,000. Unused funds from the previous period may be utilized in the following option period(s). This RFP will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on 3 March 2010 on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov). The anticipated award date is May 2010.
