Description
To procure Wonderware software for human machine interface. Software must interface with Modicon PLC via Modbus IP with Ethernet messaging capability. Must have pre-defined intelligent graphical user interface objects. Must have the ability to organize object templates into user configurable toolbox templates. Must have a local support presence with 24 hour tech support hotline. This is a sole source procurement, synopsis published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is ATR Distributing 9585 Cilley Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45002. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations recieved within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information recieved will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. "An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selections process." The size standard for this effort is $25,000,000. NAICS 541511. Delivery: 30 days ARO. FOB: Destination. Payment Terms Net 30 Days: Evaluation of Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
