- Under Full and Open Competition, FISC Norfolk Contracting Philadelphia Office intends to competitively procure for Optical Emission Spectrometer equipment purchase, installation, and training on behalf of the NNSY DET Naval Foundry And Propeller Center (NFPC), Philadelphia, PA. The proposed contract will cover the Optical Emission Spectrometer equipment to be purchased from the vendor for analytical support at NFPC. It is also intended to acquire an ICAL (Intelligent Calibration Logic) system or a Commercial equivalent to the ICAL system, and a One Year Warranty on non-consumable parts and labor. In regards to Installation and Training; System pricing must include installation by the vendor representative and user familiarization and application for a minimum of two days, On Site Training for a minimum of 2 days, and Off Site Training for 3 days for 2 people. The Required Delivery date is 30 July 2010. A fixed price contract will be issued, and conducted in accordance with FAR 12 for Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Test Program Procedures for SAP Commercial Items. When the solicitation is completed, it will be made available electronically and posted to https://www.neco.navy.mil. The applicable NAICS Code is 334516.
