- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for Audiovisual Equipment and simultaneous interpretation services for the International Drug Enforcement Conference (IDEC) XXVII in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil April 27-29, 2010. The contractor shall provide service for simultaneous interpreters for the following languages: Six (6) Spanish-English, two (2) Arabic-English, two (2) Russian-English, and two (2) Potuguese-English-Spanish, for a total of twelve (12) interpreters. The contractor shall provide a technical production team to provide Audio Systems and Audiovisuals in Main Conference Room and breakout rooms, and document reproduction systems in support rooms.This is anticipated to be a sole source purchase order to Allied Conference under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5, and under authority 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.303-2(a)(12). The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1 (June 2008) Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2 (Jan 1999) Evaluation-Commercial Items - 1) Technical capability 2) Past performance 3) Price; 52.212-3 (Aug 2009) Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 (Mar 2009) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 (Feb 2010) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The additional clauses cited within this clause are applicable: 52.222-50, 52.233-3, 52.233-4, 52.203-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-31, 52.232-33. The Government ! anticipates award of a single, firm fixed price purcahse order based on best value. All sources shall submit a quotation which will be evaluated. Responses must be submitted electronically to claire.r.whitley@usdoj.gov. All respondents will be considered by this agency. Quotes must be in by March 9, 2010 at 12:00noon EST.
