- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, NSWCCD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Pacific Consolidated Industries, LLC., 12201 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA. 92503 for the furnishing of services, including engineering and manufacturing labor, materials and field services to remove all shipboard unauthorized Swagelok fittings from the USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH's (CVN-77) Oxygen Production Plant. The work for the proposed contract is anticipated to take approximately 44 weeks. The award is anticipated to be a combination of Firm-Fixed Price and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 333999 and has a size standard of 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). The solicitation will be available to download from FEDBIZZOPPS.GOV or NECO.Navy.mil on or after 04 April 2010. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The solicitation package will be available electronically - no hard copies will be sent.
