- Description
- RECOVERY TAS::14 1041:: TAS RECOVERY GOGA 150682 Design-Build Photovoltaic Power/Roofing Project. This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)(Pub.L. 111-5) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act. The project is located on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco (San Francisco County), California. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate the following Q&A: Q. Due to the response time, can we propose as a Joint Venture (JV) that has not yet been approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) but will be within the next 2-3 weeks? The JV will be between 2 federally-recognized 8(a) contractors. This JV application will be completed before any contract signing. The local SBA local office has stated they need 2-3 weeks for the approval process. A. Any 8(a) firm(s) that wish to submit as a Joint Venture in Phase I (the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) phase) may do so only if a photocopy of the completed SBA application form is submitted along with the RFQ response. Also, any short-listed firm selected to proceed to the Request for Price Proposal (RFP) stage, or Phase II, must submit a fully-executed JV Agreement from the SBA with its RFP response. Failure to submit a fully-executed JV Agreement for the RFP Phase will automatically make the JV ineligible for award and will not be considered any further.
