- RFQ NTSBR100004 and Sections B-M. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NTSBR100004 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-32. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541211 with a small business size standard of $7 million. This requirement is issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) requires the services of a contractor in the resolution of material weaknesses and other issues identified in audits of its financial statements. The Department of Transportation Inspector General (DOT IG), through a contract with an independent auditing firm, audits the NTSB's financial statements each Government fiscal year. SEE ATTACHED RFQ FOR A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT AND APPLICABLE FAR PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES. Your proposal must be received no later than 4:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time (EST), on March 18, 2010. See attached RFQ for details on mailing instructions. LATE PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
